The '''Gulfstream G650''', '''G700''' and '''G800''' are large business jets built by Gulfstream Aerospace. The G650, called the GVI on its type certificate, carries 11 to 18 passengers up to 7,000 nmi at a top speed of Mach 0.925, with two Rolls-Royce BR725 engines on the rear fuselage.<ref name="wp"/> In the U.S. there are 468 G650, G700 and G800 jets with a valid registration.<ref name="faa"/>

== History ==
Gulfstream launched the G650 inside the company in May 2005 and unveiled it on March 13, 2008, as its largest, fastest and most expensive business jet. The wing design was finished in 2006, and 1,400 hours of wind-tunnel testing were done by 2008.<ref name="wp"/>

The G650ER adds about 500 nmi of range through a fuel-system change, offered as a $2 million retrofit to existing G650s; a new G650ER listed at $66.5 million.<ref name="wp"/>

The G700, introduced in October 2019, stretches the airframe by 10 feet and reaches Mach 0.935 with a new wing and Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, making it Gulfstream's largest and fastest. The G800, announced in October 2021, is the size of the G650 with the G700's wing and engines.<ref name="wp"/>

== Design ==
It cruises at Mach 0.85 to 0.90 and can be fitted with a full kitchen and bar, satellite phones and wireless internet. Each BR725 engine makes up to 17,000 lbf of thrust.<ref name="wp"/>

== Registered in the United States ==
The FAA register lists '''468''' of these airplanes with a valid U.S. registration. Here they are by the model name the FAA uses.<ref name="faa"/>
